Unlike the comprehensive Medical Assistant program, this accelerated program focuses primarily on clinical procedures and direct patient care.
Students complete theory-based coursework online and attend scheduled on-campus laboratory sessions to develop and demonstrate clinical competencies.
Graduates are prepared to perform clinical support duties, specimen collection, basic laboratory procedures, EKG, phlebotomy, and patient-care activities under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.
